LCC-8B Control System
It with the functions of traction consant horsepower controlling,rheostatic braking controlling,self-load controlling,anti-slipping/sliding,protecting diesel engine electric devices and diagnosis displaying has used on DF11 and DF8B.
DLRI is one of the forthgoers in researching and developing the on-board microcomputer control system. Early in the 1980s, the electronic constant power excitation devices were used on DF4 and DF5 with the function of protecting traction engine’s normal running and guaranteeing the diesel engine operating under the ideal economy circumstance. In late 1980s, on-board microcomputer control system replaced the electronic simulation system on the control of the constant power’s operating. In early 1990s, DLRI developed on-board microcomputer real time multitask operating system with independent information property right, based on this, LCC-8B on-board microcomputer control system was developed with the functions of traction constant power controlling, resistance brake controlling, self-load controlling, anti-sliping/ sliding, protecting diesel engine& electric devices and diagnosis displaying. This system has been used on DF11 and DF8 ( in 1997 ), and gained first class of National Sci-Tech Achievement Award in 1995. the main products are Network monitoring control system units for diesel and electric locomotive, color display, DF11/8B microcomputer control cabinet, locomotive auxiliary traction system devices, microcomputer control devices for light railway, converter devices, and various locomotive electric device Test-stand. DLRI is one of the major Research, Design and manufacturing enterprises of locomotive electronic control products such as traction control systems, microcomputer network systems and so on, with strong capabilities of testing, experiment and inspecting. All products made by DLRI are fully tested and inspected by special test stands which are designed base on the products. By the end of 2008, the number of products developed and made by DLRI is up to 20 types, 3200 sets. These products are installed on DF11/DF8B locomotive, and also equipped with the DF4 series, DF5, DF7 series, NJ1, GK1 series and other locomotives and Dalian DL6W light railway.
